Mister Kloss, planted into Skywatch as a mole by Abraham Dante/Scorponok, inserted a virus into Grimlock, freeing him from Skywatch's control. When Grimlock escaped, Kloss was ready there to do the same to the other Dynobots so Dante could use them to destroy Grimlock. Spotlight: Grimlock
Kloss allowed Skywatch's to believe their test of the other Dynobots to go flawlessly so they would be unaware that he had placed a virus into them as well, and would be under Scorponok's control to attack Grimlock. Maximum Dinobots issue 1
