The Unbinding was a Transformer ceremony which was linked with the opening of the Seal of Primus.

Dreamwave continuity
The Fallen gathered four Cybertronians that represented the different angles of the Geometry of Dissolution with the Unbinding used to open the Seal of Primus in order for Cybertron to be located by Unicron.
