- The Giga-Techvolt is an Autobot weapon from the Return of Convoy portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

When Alan brings out the devastating Giga-Techvolt cannon, the Decepticons start shaking and running for cover. The Liner Team's electrical warrior's cool, detached manner is made all the more creepy when he's toting around a gigantic double-barreled electrical cannon.
Toys
Return of Convoy
- Sixliner (Micromaster Sixteam, 1991)
- Japanese ID number: C-370
- The Giga-Techvolt is... well, it's basically Sixliner's pelvis/thighs piece mounted on top of any of the compatible Liner Team in train mode, the knee-clips being the "barrels".
- This mold was also used to make the equivalent weapon/body part of Sixtrain and Universe Rail Racer, though those have yet to be officially named.
Micromaster Collection

- Alan (Micromaster, 2002)
- Sixliner ID number: 2
- Accessories: Sixliner legs/"Giga-Techvolt"
- For Micromaster Collection, the Giga-Techvolt had its decals replaced with paint operations. Since the team was split up into individual boxes for sale, so too were the combiner kibble pieces; the legs/Techvolt inexplicably came with Alan, who forms an arm.
Notes
- The Giga-Techvolt's name comes from the much later Micromaster Collection fiction; it was not named in the original Return of Convoy Sixliner instruction booklet. It was also explicitly stated to be used by D-Go in train mode in said booklet, since he's the only one of the Sixliner molds that can actually mount it properly. Also also, though the Techvolt is mentioned in Alan's Micromaster Collection bio, his instructions do not otherwise give any indication that the leg-piece can be mounted anyone's train mode.
