Powerglide, along with the rest of Remote Patrol Six, were scanning the Plait Expanse's radiation in order to find a way to escape Cybertron. They were also harbouring Hound from Optimus Prime, who had voluntarily jumped and faked his death when Rodimus and Goldbug threw everyone who was deemed too loyal to Prime off the Ark before heading to Earth.
