abates is the mod from New Zealand!

New Zealand is composed of the North Island, South Island, West Island and Stewart Island, plus a bunch of smaller islands.
New Zealanders are also referred to as "Kiwis".
New Zealand's national religion is called "Rugby", also known as "League" and "Super 12" and "that game where men chase a ball around a field and grope each other".
Our Prime Minister is John Key, and his name is pronounced as one word, preferably with a faux Scottish accent so you sound like Shrek.
