- The Omega Formation is a military tactic from the Transformers Animated continuity family.

While it's unclear if the Omega Formation is a general Autobot tactic or just something that Optimus Prime's team have worked out in advance, the general gist of the plan appears to be:
- Bumblebee distracts the target by firing on them with his stingers.
- Bulkhead hurls Prowl, who kicks the target off their feet.
- Ratchet pins the target to the ground with his electromagnets.
- Optimus Prime... does something, probably involving his axe.

Animated cartoon
In a hurry to finish off Blitzwing so they could get back to base and help Sari, Optimus ordered up the Omega Formation. Bumblebee ineffectually zapped Blitzwing with his stingers, Bulkhead performed a Prowl-doken, and Ratchet was grabbed from behind and made a hostage.
Needless to say, only Blitzwing was particularly happy with the result. Sari, No One's Home
