Lured into a Decepticon ambush, the ship was rendered helpless as a result of its command codes having been sold to the enemy by an Autobot traitor. Outnumbered and outgunned, it was forced to crash-land on the desolate and abandoned planet Cybertron. Once there it was largely inoperable, used as a base of operations by Kup's crew as they searched for aid. All Hail Megatron issue 5
