Beast Wars Neo was a manga series that ran in Comic Bom Bom in Japan from March, 1999 to October, 1999. It directly follows the Beast Wars II manga, but diverges rather more radically from the animated series, chiefly in its delightfully bizarre depiction of the Neo cast as real animals who were evolved into Transformers by Angolmois energy. Like the Beast Wars II manga, it was both written and drawn by Shōji Imaki.
