Quasar is a Mini-Con from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy.
A member of the Hellflame Mini-Cons, Quasar enforces the rule of the mighty Scourge with his projectile-weapon attacks, a rare ability among the citizenry of the Jungle Planet.
Toys
Cybertron
A redeco of the Armada Emergency Mini-Con Team member Prowl, Quasar transforms into both a Cybertronic police car and a pistol that can be held by most larger Unicron Trilogy toys. He was only availale at Japanese Ito Yokaido stores in March of 2005 with the purchase of any Transformers "Galaxy Force" (the Japanse name for Cyberton) toy.
An all-white version of the Team was also released in March as a Jusco store exclusive; white Quasar was available with the purchase of the Leader-class Optimus Prime.
The same mold is used by Checkpoint, Groove and Kingbolt.
