Scenic South Dakota is located in the upper-midwest of the United States of America. It is presumably located south of North Dakota, but this cannot be proven canonically. Locations of note in South Dakota include Mount Rushmore, Lincoln and Rapid City.

Its primary export is agricultural products, including ethanol: a tasty beverage!

Lincoln was built over a buried piece of a crashed starship. In the year 2005, residents Rad White, Carlos Lopez and Alexis found it and woke up the inactivate Mini-Cons inside. Dreamwave Armada issue 3

Another group of Mini-Cons, the Air Defense Team, hid in the outskirts of Rapid City until they were captured by the Decepticons. Dreamwave Armada issue 6
