- The Badlands is a location on Cybertron in the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Badlands is the region under domain of the city-state Kaon.[1] During the reign of Shokaract, Kaon was destroyed by his armies. The ravaged infrastructure of the area hides a labyrinthine sub-city underneath, making the region an ideal refuge for those who oppose Shokaract's rule. Shokaract, in turn, uses it as training and proving ground for future Heralds.
