- Sector 12 is a location from the Beast Wars portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Sector 12, also known as the Lava Pits, is a highly hazardous location. In addition to the aforementioned lava, it is within weapons range of the Predacon base, and is also prone to energon storms.

Rattrap was sent there on a recon mission by Optimus Primal, and was attacked by Terrorsaur. Shockingly, Rattrap surrendered to the Predacon, and agreed to obey him. This was later revealed to have part of a plan hatched by the Maximal spy and his leader. Double Jeopardy
