John Gavin Malkovich (born December 9, 1953) is an American actor and director.
Malkovich is well-known for his work in arthouse fare like The Killing Fields and Dangerous Liaisons, and in big-budget blockbusters, like In the Line of Fire and Con Air. He even played himself (and several other people, sort of) in Being John Malkovich. In all of them, however, he plays scary guys with creepy voices, although he portrayed a semi-heroic character in Steven Spielberg's butchered adaptation of Empire of the Sun.
He will play Sam Witwicky's first employer in Transformers 3.
