Transformers Animated: The Cool is a currently running Japan-only comic (manga) written and drawn by Naoto Tsushima. It is being serialized in Kerokero Ace. It may or may not take place in the Movie continuity. We still can't get a straight answer from TakaraTomy on that.
A 4-page color prologue for the series was initially published in the May 2010 issue of Kerokero Ace (released in late March, naturally), with the regular series beginning the following month.

Notes
- Prior to revealing the "The Cool" project, Tsushima imported the trade paperback collection of The Arrival along with a copy of Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac. He later revealed that he doesn't understand a word of English, but still, that's a promising sign, right?
