The Transform Your Garage contest is a sweepstakes promotion by Chevrolet, run as a promotional tie-in with Revenge of the Fallen in 2009. The contest allows entrants the chance to win two new Chevy vehicles of their choice, and allows Chevy to harvest delicious email addresses for consumption by their ravenous marketing department.

The web site for the contest features an animated CGI rendering of Movie Bumblebee stomping around a bit and unfolding massive clusters of shoulder cannons. Despite his use in promoting the contest, Bumblebee himself is explicitly not available as a prize.

The site also offers four promo videos:

  • One of the theatrical trailers
  • "Vehicle Parade", footage of the car-mode Autobots driving and driving and driving (hey, it may be your only chance to get a clear look at Jolt.)
  • "Behind the Scenes", with some details of modifications made to the Bumblebee car
  • "Chevy Designer", with interview clips with the tech guys who worked on the cars used in the films.
I have taken cars home at night, to evaluate, for quite some time now. I get chased down the street by, these little kids, with their camera phones, yelling 'Bumblebee! Bumblebee!'Al Oppenheiser, Vehicle Chief Engineer for Camaro

The contest ended on 15 January 2010.
