The name or term "Tankor" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Tankor (disambiguation).
Tankor is a Decepticon from the Revenge of the Fallen portion of the live-action film series continuity family.
Tankor HATE puny Banner!!

There are probably Decepticons dumber and lower-ranking than Tankor, but it's likely a low number. Then again, he's basically here to blow things up or crush them under his treads, which doesn't require a powerful processor. Just a powerful body and a lot of big guns. Which he's got, oh yes.

Fiction

Titan Magazines

Tankor has the power to change his colour from green to silver at will!

Tankor attempted to break into a NEST armoury under the Alamo, but set off every alarm in the place. To get out of this, he took hostages and demanded safe passage... while secretly contacting and waiting for Dirge, intending for the jet to arrive, surprise, and homicide any Autobot that arrived. That Autobot turned out to be Springer, who surprised Tankor with a direct assault! The two robots shot it out until Dirge arrived, at which point the Autobot Jolt jumped Tankor and redirected his cannon towards Dirge.

With his reinforcement driven off by friendly fire, the Decepticon surrendered. Rules of Engagement

Part of the fourth wave of Revenge of the Fallen Legends Class toys, Tankor is a redeco of Brawl from the 2007 movie toyline, transforming into a heavily modified M1A1 Abrams tank. As a Legends toy, he features very limited articulation.

Notes

  • Given his name and especially his color scheme, Tankor is a pretty big homage to his Beast Machines predecessor. His face is even painted to give him a single red optic band like his namesake.
  • By accident, Tankor spends his two pages in Titan green, presumably due to a mix-up with Springer. He becomes his toy's colours later on.
