Roberto Orci is an American film and television producer and screenwriter. Together with his friend and writing partner Alex Kurtzman, he has written several high-profile motion pictures recently, including The Island (which was directed by Michael Bay), as well as J.J Abrams' Mission Impossible 3 and the critically-acclaimed 2009 Star Trek movie.
Orci and Kurztman confirmed[citation needed] that they would not be writing the as-yet untitled third Transformers movie, but it was revealed during Hasbro's Fall Investor Day Event on November 5, 2009 that they would be involved in some capacity with The Hub. [1] This was later revealed to be executive producer roles on the upcoming Transformers: Prime CG cartoon.[2]
