The Transformers: Ironhide is a 4-issue limited series published by IDW Publishing in 2010 and set in the main IDW continuity. The miniseries is a maxi-Spotlight for Ironhide.

Overview
During the Great War on Cybertron, one of the Autobots' fallen heroes was Optimus Prime's best friend—Ironhide. What does that have to do with the fate of the planet today?

Ironhide, thought to be dead, wakes up on the deserted Cybertron after dreaming about the past. As he looks around and tries to get some answers, he continues to drift in and out of these dreams. He encounters a couple of Insecticon swarm and dispatches them. After another dream, Ironhide encounters a strange Transformer that beckons him to follow.
