No, he will think and think, and think some more, the pungent odor of burning insulation wafting from his logic circuits, until he has either figured the matter out, or until it has gone away on its own. Stubborn and stupid, but not skilled enough to carry out orders, it makes perfect sense that he is a fairly high-ranking officer.

Turbofire is an Autobot from the Generation 2 portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Have you seen me?

This character or person needs some sort of visual representation. If you have one, please replace this.

Turbofire is as strong as a block of nuclear-hardened durasteel, and about as durable. He is also as smart as a lump of lead, and only slightly more skilled. Turbofire will not back down from a problem too difficult for his undersized brain. He is far too stubborn for that.

Turbofire was one of several Autobots under the command of Fortress Maximus on the Garrus-9 penal colony. He and the other soldiers failed to stop a Decepticon attack force from liberating the facility's newest inmates. Spotlight: Arcee

Later, Garrus-9 came under attack again and Turbofire again defended it. And then Overlord came to town... Last Stand of the Wreckers issue 1

Don't worry; you'll see him coming.
  • Turbofire (Axelerator, 1993/1994)
    • Accessories: Engine block/gun
Sold as part of the Axelerator assortment, Turbofire transforms into a large pickup truck of undetermined model. His exposed chrome-silver engine block becomes a hand-held weapon in robot mode.
He was initially released in the European market in 1993, during the "transitional" time when the Transformers toys took on the new Generation 2 sigils, but the packaging lacked the "Generation 2" line-name. He was slightly recolored for American release the same year, with the transparent pink plastic of his windows and lightpipe being replaced with a smokey grey plactic that was much harder to see through. He was released again in the UK in 1994 in G2 packaging, but the toy was identical to the original European-market release.
The toy is gang-molded with Rapido.

Block Town

I like traffic lights. I like traffic lights. I like traffic lights. I like traffic lights. That is what I said. I like traffic lights. I like traffic lights. I like traffic lights. I like traffic lights. I like traffic lights. But not when they are red.
Turbofire's mold was one of several intended to be used in the post-G2 Takara Block Town line. To be redecoed in blue with black robot parts, he was to come with the Signal/Traffic Lights Set, a building-block traffic signal that could be rebuilt into a battle station of some form. This set ultimately never came to release.
In 2005, a supposed Takara "release" schedule listed the Block Town sets among several other future items coming out. Only the Galaxy Force items on that list saw release, however (and some only as store exclusives to boot).
Since very little information exists on the line's more fictional aspects, it is unknown if this toy was to be the same general character Turbofire, or a new character altogether.
