Wedge Major is the Autobot bonded to Iota Supreme, an Omega Sentinel. Iota Supreme's destruction was caused when he took heavy damage during the Battle for Omnitron, and was destroyed by Lugnut while being repaired. Their connection was presumably lost if Wedge was not on board.
