Awakening in New Crystal City, Drift is presented a challenge by Wing.

Gasket only has four fingers.
On page 20, the words "TFW2005" (a popular Transformers fansite) are written under a train bridge.
On the same page, in panel 2, "Noprips" (the DeviantArt username of colorist Priscilla Tramontano) are written on an arch.
Hot Shot and Shattered Glass Ravage turn up in G1 and exit very terminally. Alex Milne revealed this was because when he needed some cannon fodder, his friend's suggested killing Hot Shot as he was David Willis' favourite character and they thought it'd be funny. [1] This caused some minor controversy, causing Denton Tipton to state that Milne has no control over which characters live or die, and that these were just generics and this is only an issue because of "the fascination with "canon."" [2]

Wing and his friend are the only members of the Circle Of Light who aren't blind.
