Transformers United is a Japanese TakaraTomy toyline comprising molds from Hasbro's Classics, Transformers 2010/2011, and Generations toylines. Much like TakaraTomy's release of the Transformers Animated toyline, these Japanese versions have glossy metallic paint jobs. As a continuation of a marketing strategy introduced during the 2007 live-action movie toyline, most of the characters retain their American names.
