Presumably, the Autobots left the planet shortly after and the Klud ended his killing spree. Or maybe the Klud got killed anyway by some of those bounty hunters still around. Those authorities aren't going to let their income be dwindled by whalehugger sympathies.

Fiction

Marvel Comics continuity

Pequod was shaken by a sudden wave of incidents in which boats were destroyed. Seeing this as particular bad for business, the tourist office tried to write them off as accidents until rumor of a Klud being still alive and responsible for the incidents caught on. Switching tactics, the authorities promised a reward of 10.000 drax to whomever would kill the Klud.

Among the people baited to Pequod by this story, albeit not for the reward but the possibility the "resurrection" of the Klud was somehow linked to the Creation Matrix, were the Autobots Pincher, Doubleheader and Longtooth and the Decepticons under command of Thunderwing. Pincher and co. arrived in Gottlieb, where they met up with the local harbor master to get inside information. From there, the Autobots took their shuttle out onto the sea, where after some time of searching they found a deserted ship. Getting too close to the water, Longtooth was attacked by the Klud and had his leg bitten off. Not taking kindly to this, Longtooth stole the ship and set out for a personal quest of revenge on the Klud. When he caught up with the creature and prepared for the kill however, both his Autobot colleagues and the Decepticons showed up to stop him. In the ensuing battle, Thunderwing mindlinked with the Klud to find out where the Matrix was and ordered his troops to retreat when he had the information he needed. On Autobot side, Pincher managed to talk sense back into Longtooth and convinced him to let the Klud live. Deadly Obsession

Presumably, the Autobots left the planet shortly after and the Klud ended his killing spree. Or maybe the Klud got killed anyway by some of those bounty hunters still around. Those authorities aren't going to let their income be dwindled by whalehugger sympathies.
