In 1017, Godwin led his men in an attack on the Castle of Stenshame. They had killed many men, women and children, taken hostages and breached the main gates when they were stopped in their tracks by an earth tremor. The attack was abandoned following the intervention of the Man of Iron, who struck great fear into Godwin's men. Man of Iron
