Fiction
Dreamwave Generation One continuity
Kingsley was a key figure involved in the success of Operation Liberation. During the operation, the combined human-Autobot alliance was struggling, with the human casualties mounting and the Autobots completely unable to penetrate the Decepticon Headquarters.
Acting upon his own volition, Kingsley flew his fighter aircraft on a suicide mission right into the heart of the Decepticon Headquarters. The explosion of his plane was all the distraction the Autobots needed to breach the Decepticon base, and from there, the tide of battle was turned.Prime Directive issue 1
