Bradley "Rad" White is your typical kid who's the son of brilliant scientists. He likes to skateboard, he likes to watch television, he likes to grab excitedly at radioactive things-- what? Well, maybe he's adopted or something. Or hits his head a lot. Both explainations work pretty well.
