He is probably best known for routinely playing Medama-oyaji in every single incarnation of GeGeGe no Kitarō, a long-running Japanese franchise which has spawned five TV anime series and numerous movies since 1968. He also played Gara in Dr. Slump, Bibidi in Dragon Ball Z and was the Japanese dub voice for Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars.
