I suspect the reason Derik used "football" as the European name is because Blaster (IIRC) was once asked if they had football teams on Cybertron, and he gave a brief listing of some teams (the only one I ever remember is Throttlebot Wanderers, portrayed as perpetual underdogs/failures [and quite possibly intended as a knock on [http://http://www.wolves.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Home/0,,10307,00.html Wolverhampton], and that one involved the Combaticons) - this is probably also where the Primus League Cup comes from. | |||
