- Private Dedcliff is an Autobot-allied human from the Dark of the Moon portion of the live-action film series continuity family.
Private Dedcliff is odd, militarily speaking. He's Special Forces first off, which is not something you can normal be a part of when you're still a Private, not in the US Army at least. He's also a wilderness survival specialist with years of experience. Maybe that was as a civilian? Or "Private" is part of his code name? Who knows. Anyway, he's well matched with his Autobot partner Sandstorm who was designed to handle any harsh environment easily.
