The Magnus Inquiry is an Autobot investigation from the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Magnus Inquiry was an infamous investigation conducted in Room 113 of the Kimia Facility. The investigative committee, appointed by Chief Justice Tyrest, were led by Ultra Magnus (thus the name) and included Nightbeat.
