The Transformers: Robot Masters online comics were published on Takara's official website from 2004 to 2005, for a total of thirteen issues. Each issue consisted of two pages, with artwork provided by Naoto Tsushima.

The Robot Masters online comic told much of the same story as the Robot Masters cartoon and pack-in comics, however, being the longest-running of the three pieces of Robot Masters fiction, told the majority of the series story and was the only one to see it through to something of a conclusion.

Along with each issue, Takara posted a short text story on their site.
