When [[Sam Witwicky|Sam]] meets [[Carly Miller|Carly]] at her job, she introdouces him to Dylan. He comes across as a nice guy (of course) and welcomes Sam, but Sam jealous about his realtionship with Carly. Later, Sam couldn't get his old Dastun to start, Dylan helps him and reveals he help Sam get his job. Soon to find out, Dylan was secretly an agent for the [[Decepticons]], specifically [[Soundwave (ROTF)|Soundwave]], which he justifies as merely "business" with a "client" he has inherited from his late father. He then tells Soundwave to capture Carly and told Sam to spy on the [[Autobots]] with a [[Watch-bot|watch]] (which is a Decepticon). He went to [[Chicago]] with Carly, to see [[Cybertron]] come to Earth. Sam and [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]] find Carly and him with the help of a Decepticon ship, but he escapes. Dylan Gould is the CEO of Hotchkiss Gould Investments. [1] He managed to snag the young Carly Spencer to help run his collection of exotic cars, a hobby which helps "keep him sane." He's inordinately fond of his new recruit, calling her "my duchess," giving her cars, and hooking up her boyfriend with career opportunities using his amazing connections because he's so hot and rich. That's not threatening to said boyfriend at all, no.
