Fiction
IDW Generation 1 comics
Before the war, Optimus Prime was a captain in the Rodian Police; Springarm and Whirl served under him. Rung was a citizen there, and Megatron and Impactor worked in its mines. Deltaran Medical Facility was located near to or within Rodion.
Megatron and Impactor would be drinking in Maccadam's New Oil House when two military cadets began to abuse Rung; Impactor explained to them how this was wrong (i.e. he beat them half to death). Megatron would be wrongly arrested for this and beaten by Whirl, who had been friends with the cadets and wanted to put the "nobody" in his place, but Optimus discovered that Megatron was innocent and had him released.
