The Omega Key is an important relic in Cybertronian culture, dating back to before the onset of the Great War. Typically, it is entrusted to the leader of the Autobots, as it held the power to guide users to the very core of Cybertron itself. However, a little-known truth was that the Key itself did not open the Omega Gate; instead, it could be used to activate its Guardian, who was the only Transformer capable of opening the doorway into the Core.
