- Symbiotes are a class of Transformer from the live-action film series.
A symbiote[1] or symbiont[2] is a class of Transformer that spends much of its existence living within the exostructure of another Transformer.
Though sometimes displaying minimal intelligence, symbiotes are fully sparked Transformers in their own right.
