Starscream royally pisses off Grimlock.
Synopsis
Starscream and his pals drop in on Grimlock, brooding in an abandoned coliseum in Kaon where, apparently, Grimlock regularly defeated Starscream. Notes
- The first four pages of this story were previously released in the DW Preview Special 2002. While the colorist, Matt Kuphaldt, was properly credited in that publication, this printing only says, "Colors by Dreamwave." Enigmatically, it also says, "Special thanks to Rob Ruffolo, Matt Kuphaldt, and Dreamer Design," which seems to imply that Ruffolo colored the new pages (as it is known that Kuphaldt did not, and Dreamer Design is a typography studio).
- The story fits between issues 2 and 3 of The War Within, and would later be released in order in the trade paperback.
- Following the story were sketches by Don Figueroa of characters in the series, including the unused Devastator.
