Transformers (2010)

  • Minicon 8 Pack (Multipack, 2010)
Diveplane is a redeco of Cybertron Deepdive, transforming into a submarine. He is one of the few Mini-Con molds that actually has a Powerlinx plug as well as a socket. He was only available as part of the European-market exclusive "Minicon 8 Pack" box set with Buckshot, Ironside, Barrel Roll, Iron Claw, Airlift, Heavy-Liftor, and Reachout.
This mold was also used to make Astro-Sinker and Seawave.

Notes

  • The Minicon [sic] 8 Pack gives no indication whatsoever what continuity these eight Min-Cons hail from.
  • The front of the packaging alternately parses his name as Dive Plane. We go with "Diveplane" since that's how it's parsed on both the back and the side of the packaging. Outvoted!
  • The stock photography for Diveplane shows him with a silver-painted Powerlinx plug. The final product leaves this part unpainted, because obviously, that really, really wouldn't work.
