Jennifer wished Danny to bed at one night. The next day, she sent him on errands in New York City, where he was rescued by the Autobots from a burning building. Missing in Action

Fireflight, the Aerialbots' most reckless flier, was tasked with bringing the boy to safety, to his mother at the nearby hotel. Jennifer Phillips got her son back in a daze, a condition she blamed on the Aerialbot. Fireflight could not be bothered to defend himself and as the battle continued, the hotel the Phillips had been staying in was destroyed. This result of pointless violence finally broke Danny's idealized image of the Transformers. Jennifer took her son home with her to recover. The Return of the Transformers
