The Maze is a location on Cybertron from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Maze is a location on Cybertron utilized by the Autobots as a sort of gauntlet for training against Decepticons. It is notorious for its sharp, narrow twisting corridors that requires precision over speed to make it through without incident.

Fiction

The Transformers cartoon

Hot Rod, with the aid of Daniel Witwicky, and Blurr raced each other through the Maze. Brainstorm attributed Hot Rod's victory in said race to the fact that he had help from a human. He took this as evidence in support of his theory that the Autobots could function better with the aid of secondary operators. This theory would eventually lead to the creation of the Headmasters.
