Jessie and her family were set to ride on a bus from Phoenix to Los Angeles, when Verity Carlo swiped Jessie's bus ticket from Jessie's mother's purse. When the mother failed to find the ticket, Jessie broke into tears and the family was forced to remain behind as the bus drove off with Verity in it. Infiltration #1
