Fiction

IDW Generation 1 continuity

Inside the Array, the Decepticons led by Megatron held the Psycho-Prism stolen from Doctor Doom and technology facilitating mirror response mode. Man and Machine, Part Two With the Psycho-Prism and sudden attacks from Blitzwing, Skywarp, and Thundercracker, the Decepticons brought Latveria and Symkaria to the brink of war.

To end hostilities, the Avengers were sent by S.H.I.E.L.D. to investigate the Latverian countryside, where they found the Array. They entered and were instantly attacked by the base's internal defenses. Spider-Man was selected for mirror response mode and abducted by Runabout. The Avengers were forced outside, where they argued among themselves thanks to the Psycho-Prism's effects. Man and Machine, Part One The Avengers met and were cured of the Prism's effects by the Autobots. Inside the Array, the Decepticons were granted the power mirror response mode enabled, but Megatron refused to allow the newly-arrived Ramjet the fruits of their labor and ordered him to guard the Psycho-Prism. The Autobots and the Avengers outside attempted to break into the Array, only to be greeted by the powered-up Decepticons. Man and Machine, Part Two

In the midst of battle, Ratchet, accompanied by Luke Cage and Prowl, broke into the Array. Prowl went to look for the Pscyho-Prism while the other two looked for Spider-Man. They met with Megatron, who easily defeated them, and Prowl was knocked out by Doctor Doom, who had allied with the Decepticons. From within, Megatron informed his enemies outside of the hopelessness of their situation. When they refused to surrender, Megatron decided to take matters into his own hands and went out to face them. Man and Machine, Part Three While Megatron was busy outside, Spider-Man freed himself and was assisted by Doom, who had switched sides again. Together, the two helped Prowl and Ratchet.

With orbital jump, Bumblebee, Jazz, and Wolverine entered the Array and found Spider-Man willingly giving his energies to the Prowl and Ratchet. Wolverine volunteered for the procedure, helping boost the Autobots further. Doctor Doom led Wolverine's team to the Psycho-Prism. Ramjet, unwilling to fight, flew off and Wolverine destroyed the Psycho-Prism, setting off a chain reaction that destroyed the Array. Man and Machine, Part Four
