The Duobots were present aboard the Lost Light when it left Cybertron. Ore was standing next to the quantum generator when it failed, which resulted in him being fused into the generator itself. Brainstorm remarked that, on the bright side, at least now they'd know which Duobot was which.

The point became moot when Shock fell victim to a Sparkeater while investigating strange noises in the ship. Hangers On

Notes

  • Presumably, the Duobots were created as an Autobot counterpart to the Duocons.
  • As a product of the mind of British writer James Roberts, the fun double-meaning of Shock and Ore's names may not be immediately apparent to American readers. Try saying them out loud in a British accent.
