Science City is the hometown of Rad, Alexis, and Carlos. Just how much science is done in the city is uncertain.
It may or may not be the same place as Lincoln, South Dakota.

Dreamwave Armada comic
After escaping from Cybertron, the Mini-Cons' ship crashed on the Moon, with a portion of the ship separating and falling to Earth where Science City would be in the future. In modern times, Rad fell into a cavern containing the Mini-Cons and accidentally activated the Mini-Con homing device and the Mini-Cons themselves.
