Basketrek is a Cybertronic sport that uses ballobots. It seems to involve considerable bouncing of these accessories, and may be similar to the Earthen sport of basketball.

Marvel Comics continuity
Jetfire briefly mentioned the sport of basketrek and the ballobots used in it to Donny Finkleberg. He said very little, but spoke as if he was personally familiar with the sport. This is odd, since he was built on Earth by Shockwave not too long after the Autobots awoke on Earth. This may indicate the sport's importance in Transformer culture, and reflect Jetfire's desire to fit in with his new robot friends. Aerialbots over America!
