During the Great War, Skids was trapped in a time loop where he was consumed by limbo parasites. The AllSpark Almanac II At some point, he was associated with Mudflap. The AllSpark Almanac Addendum

- A similar fate befell the original Skids.
- Skids's buck teeth and big ears, as well as his association with a character named Mudflap, are obvious nods to the Autobot of the same name from the live-action film continuity.
