The Transformers cartoon

The first Galactic Olympics were held in 2005 on the planet Athenia. They were overseen by Autobot leader Rodimus Prime, who officially opened the games with the profound words "Let's do it!" Participants in the games included the Autobots, the Arcadroids from the Nalva System, and a team from the Orgenon Cluster. The only known winners in any of the events were Munka Spanka and possibly Jazz.

The event was sabotaged by a Skuxxoid agent working for the Quintessons, however, resulting in Spike Witwicky, Kup, and Ultra Magnus being kidnapped. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 1
