The Prime Minister of Japan (内閣総理大臣 Naikaku Sōri Daijin, "Minister for the General Administration of the Cabinet") is the head of government of Japan.
Fiction
The Battle of the Star Gate
To keep the Autobots from interfering in the Decepticons' plan to obtain energon cubes from the tampering of the Pacific Ring of Fire, Starscream promised the Prime Minister of Japan no aggressive action against Japan if they were left in secrecy. The Prime Minister, having little choice, complied and hid all Decepticon activity from the sensor network of the Autobot-human alliance, covering up any damage done to Japan as the result of natural earthquakes.
However, the Autobots still realized the artificial nature of the earthquakes. An amused Megatron revealed the Prime Minister's involvement in the plot as evidence of the untrustworthy and fallible humans.
While massive damage rocked Tokyo, the Prime Minister sank in his seat, feeling guilt over his involvement. The nearby Professor Ōnishi noticed his obvious guilt and privately shamed him. Activation
