A force field generator is a portable device used to create a force field around the user. It was held in the Vaults of Iacon before being hidden on Earth.
Fiction
Prime cartoon
Knock Out recovered a force field generator and brought it to Megatron. He later used it while fighting Optimus Prime and Arcee. He was almost successful in using the device to push the two Autobots off a high cliff. It was destroyed by Bulkhead with the Forge of Solus Prime. Operation Bumblebee, Part 2
