The University of Oregon is a university in Oregon. Its mascot is a duck, derived from Donald Duck. Its logo is a stylized O, trademarked by Nike.
It has a chemistry department.

Marvel Generation 1 comics
As part of Sparkplug Witwicky's requests for the conversion of fuel, Soundwave stole a large piece of equipment from the chemistry department at the University of Oregon. A security guard attempted to stop the large robot by shooting at him, to no avail. Prisoner of War!
