- The Aerialbots are a team of Autobots in the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Aerialbots are the first Autobot combiner/gestalt/special team. They all transform into Earth-style aircraft and combine to form Superion.
- Silverbolt is the responsible one, the leader, and scared of hights. He keeps the others out of trouble.
- Skydive is the strategist, the modest and bookish one who doesn't realize he the best flier the Autobots have.
- Fireflight is the space case who's a hazard to everything else in the air.
- Air Raid is a gung-ho, wreckless, fearless, and fun-loving warrior.
- Slingshot is a loud-mouthed, bragging jerk with vtol capabillities. He gets the others into trouble.
